A Night of Myth, Magic, and Mixology: The Witch’s Rebirth Takes Over the Fae Ball...well just one bar but we are so excited to be included in this event!

May 30, 2026 – Kansas (yes, Kansas…‑the‑middle‑of‑nowhere‑but‑the‑perfect‑spot‑for‑fairies)

When the invitation arrived for the Myth and Legend Fae Ball, my inner fan‑fiction nerd did a back‑flip. Not only do I get to rub shoulders with winged revelers and ancient deities, I’m also the proud sponsor of a bar that serves drinks straight from the well‑spring of The Witch’s Rebirth Trilogy.

If you’ve never heard of the series, think Celtic‑myth meets time‑traveling‑witch—a saga that follows Merona, a condemned witch from 1590 Copenhagen who is ripped from a fiery pyre, reborn in Celtic‑era Europe, and thrust into a three‑book battle against gods, demons, and her own destiny.

Why a Cocktail Bar?

Because the best way to honor a story that is part prophecy, part romance, part dragon‑fire is to serve it in a glass. Every sip should feel like a page‑turn, a spell‑cast, a side‑eye from the Morrigan herself.

So we brewed six spell‑bound sippers. The catch? Only two can make the final cut and grace the hallowed bartops of the Fae Ball.

Below is the full menu, the lore behind each libation, and a quick poll link at the bottom. Your vote decides which two will be the talk of the night.

“In‑World” Inspiration

Core Ingredients

Signature Flair

1

Murdach’s Dragon Breath

“I don’t do subtle.” – Murdach, after a knight‑for‑breakfast

Spiced rum, blood‑orange juice, ginger beer

Dry‑ice plume that winks like a dragon’s nostril

2

The Immortal Elixir

“For when you’ve died seven times and still need brunch.” – Merona

Silver tequila, pomegranate, hibiscus, edible‑gold dust

Glows faintly under moonlight (no actual immortality guaranteed)

3

Cauldron of Dagda

“Just like the one that birthed magic… but with more brandy.” – The Tuatha Dé Danann

Blackberry brandy, vodka, honey‑syrup, fresh sage

Smoky finish that whispers “selkie‑approved”

4

Spear of Lugh

“Sharp. Fast. Leaves a mark.” – Lugh himself

Tequila blanco, lime, agave, muddled jalapeño

A crisp, pepper‑sharp kick that “stabs” your palate

5

Labyrinth’s Embrace

“Literally magic. Not figuratively. We checked.” – Merona

Gin, Chambord, lemon juice, simple syrup

Color‑shifts from indigo to rose as you drink, mirroring Merona’s own transformation

6

The Phantom Queen

“She doesn’t enter a room. She rewrites it.” – The Phantom Queen

Black gin, black currant, sparkling wine (added when serving)

Starts obsidian, erupts into deep crimson—accompanied by a complimentary haughty stare

A Quick Taste Test (for the non‑fairy‑folk)

  • Murdach’s Dragon Breath – Think spicy dragon fire meets citrus sunrise. Warm, bold, and perfect for anyone who wants to feel like a 10,000‑year‑old dragon while sipping on a barstool.

  • The Immortal Elixir – A glittering, ruby‑red potion that feels like a night‑cap for a soul that’s been through seven near‑deaths. The gold dust? Pure glamour.

  • Cauldron of Dagda – Dark, sweet, and herb‑laden—like a love affair with a selkie that never quite ends.

  • Spear of Lugh – A sharp, lime‑punchy shooter that could cut through a pixie‑stare.

  • Labyrinth’s Embrace – A color‑changing marvel. Sip, watch the hue shift, and feel your destiny unfurl.

  • The Phantom Queen – Moody, dramatic, and transforms before your eyes—exactly the kind of cocktail a queen who rewrites rooms would order.

📚 A Mini‑Guide to the Trilogy (for those who need a refresher)

Labyrinth of Shadows: The Witch’s Rebirth – Part I

Condemned witch Anna Koldings escapes a 1590 Copenhagen pyre, reborn as Merona with a labyrinth‑shaped birthmark, raised by High Priestess Mairead in a Celtic village (c. 478 AD). She’s hunted by the demon Armaeus while learning elemental magic.

Cauldron of Dagda: The Witch’s Rebirth – Part II

Merona returns to a decaying Frankish world, brandishing the Cauldron of Dagda, a vessel of ancient power. With the help of Murdach (the dragon‑shifter) and the Morrigan, she battles a plague‑born darkness conjured by sorcerer Varis—the fate of Constantinople hangs in the balance.

Spear of Lugh: The Witch’s Rebirth – Part III

In 6th‑century Francia, Merona wields the Spear of Lugh and the Cauldron of Dagda, confronting the daemon Armaeus one final time. She must decide between mortality and the gift of immortality, all while the gods themselves watch.

Each book is a swirl of prophecy, battlefield bravado, and heart‑wrenching sacrifice—exactly the kind of drama that begs to be bottled (or shaken, if you prefer).
